The nose is loaded with bright red cherries. Although this barrel is cherry dominant on the nose, notes of clove, pie-crust, and cedar all keep this pour well balanced. The first sip is pleasantly approachable. Softer bourbon flavors start in the front of the palate, then slowly move to the sides and back like a silk blanket. Overall, this barrel is a soft, silky smooth poor, at 90 Proof.
