Barrel: #18-0468 Rickhouse: C
Barreled: 21DEC2009 Floor: 4
The nose is deep and rich with notes of char, burnt-sugar, and cinnamon, but with very little alcohol burn. The first sip is thin in texture, and warming. As it moves to the back of the palate, the flavors start to develop. Notes of salted-butter, cashews, and lavender all marry well for a soft finish. Don’t let the soft texture and butter notes foo you. This barrel is a 110 Proof, but drinks much lighter.
