Shannon’s Picks

Ceretto Arneis, Peidmont Italy $18.99 A recent visit to Barolo made a believer in the white wines of the region. Arneis is a typical Italian white, very light and crisp with a delicious dry finish and mouth-watering acidity that makes you want more.

Sigalas Aa Santorini, Greece $17.99 I love Greek Whites!! And you will, too. Try this blend of Assyrtiko and Athiri (2 grapes indigenous to Greece). Pair with olives and summer snacks.

Stolpman Carbonic Sangiovese, Santa Barbara California $19.99 Basically a heavier rose. Drink this grapey delight chilled and pair with grilled sausages and peppers for an easy summer treat.

Le Brun Chinon Rose, Loire Valley France $13.99 Cabernet Franc is the grape from this region in France, and I love the fruit character of this rose. Darker and bit fruitier than Provence Rose, this has notes of rose petal and watermelon.

Lieu Dit Melon Santa Maria Valley, California $21.99 As the label suggests this wine just begs to be paired with shellfish and seafood! The grape Melon de Bourgogne, of Muscadet, France, finds a fresh expression planted in the cooler climate of the Santa Maria Valley. Fresh lime zest on the nose and a salt-water breeze finish.

Mouton Noir Bottom’s Up Riesling Blend, Oregon $15.99 Everything I love about summer wine—in a glass! Vibrant, crisp and refreshing, it makes you want another glass. And another…. Not too sweet, its just right with juicy peach and honeysuckle flavors.

Gordon’s Picks

Chateau Graville-La Coste Bordeaux Blanc 2015 - $14.99
Fresh pesto with pasta is a summer classic, and it would be hard to find a better match for that dish than this lovely white Bordeaux. Medium bodied, with peach, apple and honey notes along with subtle herbs and minerality.

Mazzi Sanperetto Valpolicella Classico Superior 2014 - $14.99
Spicy herbal notes give way to tasty strawberry and sour cherry flavors in this classic light red from Italy. Give it a slight chill and quaff it on the porch, or serve it with charcuterie.

Hook & Ladder The Tillerman 2013 - $13.99
Briary plum and blackberry flavors are front and center in this medium-bodied, nicely balanced red blend (mostly Cabernet), with savory tannins on the finish. A great match for burgers and lighter grilled fare.

Sierra Cantabria Rioja Crianza 2009 - $14.99
This classic, full-bodied red Rioja features red and black fruit notes with soft, savory tannins from aging in American oak. A terrific value, it would be perfect with grilled steak and other meats.

Logan’s Picks

Mionetto Prosecco $10.99
A dry and fruity sparkler. Treat yourself to this on your porch after
doing some yard work.

Morgues de Gres $13.99
Delicious white blend with a firm minerality that will keep you coming
back for more. Keep it on chill and throw it down.

Sierra Cantabria Crianza $14.99
This is probably one of the better bargains in the store. It says
Crianza but is actually aged to Reserva standards and is quintessential
Rioja. Take it to a party and impress all your friends.

GD Vajra Rosabella $17.99
Fantastic rose. Its fruity and round but finishes crisp and clean. You
can sip it or chug it. Whatever floats your boat.

Jenn’s Picks

De L’ansee Sauvignon Blanc
$10.99
Coming from the Loire, this wine offers some herbal notes mixed in with its classic citrus notes.

Piage Barbera -
$13.99
A Well-made Italian red, this if a great Barbera for the price, and would pair wonderfully with pasta with red sauce, or even pizza.

Sierra Cantabria crianza -
$14.99
Spain seems to always offer excellent wines at a reasonable price, and this wine is no exception. Ripe with good acidity, dense dark fruit, chocolate, and licorice, what more could you ask for in your Rioja?

Airlie 7 -
$13.99
A blend of white grapes from Willamette Valley n Oregon, this is a dry white wine which has almost underripe fruit notes, yet the slightest touch of sweetness at the end. A wonderfully pleasant and elegant wine, this has become a favorite summer go-to for me.
